ISLAMABAD: Ahsan Ramzan became the new national U-16 champion on Wednesday as he overcame Zubair Tahir in the Jubilee Insurance National Snooker Championship final here at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Punjab’s Ahsan convincingly defeated Zubair, also of Punjab 4-0 (57-43, 71-01, 71-58, 59-29) in the best-of-seven-frame final.

In the second frame, Ahsan, who is also Punjab U-16 champion, scored the break of 47.
