KARACHI: Avanza Pre­mier Pay­ment Services (APPS) has partnered with the UnionPay International (UPI) to act as the Chinese giant’s third party service provider, said a joint press release issued on Tuesday.

APPS’ new gateway, PayFast, will power m-commerce transactions while offering discounts and cash-backs. They already have some financial institutions as clients, including Askari Bank, Summit Bank, Faysal Bank, Habib Metro, NRSP Bank and UBank.
