Main draw of memorial tennis from 17th

ISLAMABAD: The main draw of the Tajammul and Dilawar Abbas Memorial ITF Pakistan Juniors tournament commences from Monday here at the PTF Tennis Complex.

The tournament is being organised and sponsored by the family of late Syed Dilawar Abbas and partially sponsored by Fatima Group and Priority Group of companies.

Players from 15 countries including Azerbaijan, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Russia, Turkey, Chinese Taipei, Kuwait, Korea, Great Britain, Nepal, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, US, Malaysia and hosts Pakistan will confirm their participation.

Meanwhile, on Friday six players from Romania, Chinese Taipei, Turkey and Great Britain moved into the main draw as four players from Korea and Kuwait failed to sign in. A total 22 foreign players are in the main draw list of boys singles, and four wild cards were handed to the foreign players for the main draw.

The main draw sign-in of boys and girls will be held on Sunday between 4:00 and 6:00pm at the said venue. Foreign players have arrived and are practising in morning and evening sessions.
