Three SSC exam invigilators removed in Attock
TAXILA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Saturday removed three officials supervising the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination at a centre set up at Government High School Makhad Sharif of tehsil Jand in the Attock district.
Sources said after receiving public complaints, deputy district officer education Fateh Khan paid snap visit to the school and caught many students using unfair means in solving the Islamiyat paper.
He submitted a report to the BISE authorities who removed the three invigilators. According to the sources, the candidates alleged that they were using unfair means in connivance with the staff.
Those who were removed included the centre’s superintendent Aqeel Ahmed, his deputy Mehboob Ellahi and another official.
When contacted, BISE controller examinations Mohsin Abbas confirmed that the board had received complaints against the staff deployed at the examination centre of Makhad Sharif and removed three of them.Meanwhile, a student of Govt High School Makhad Sharif was booked by the Injra police for using unfair means in the exam.
Seven candidates were caught using unfair means at the SSC annual examination at Govt High School Jhamat in Jand on February 27. Separate cases were registered against the students.
