LAHORE: The Punjab government on Thursday transferred Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Gujranwala Tariq Abbas Qureshi and posted Riaz Nazir Garrah as the new police head of the region.

Mr Nazir Garah, who was earlier working as Deputy Inspector General Traffic, Punjab, will assume his new assignment within a couple of days.
