Two sisters shot dead, aunt wounded in Sanghar
SANGHAR: A policeman was arrested after he gunned down two women and wounded their aunt in their house located in Chandia Colony of Tando Adam town on Thursday.
Tando Adam DSP Ayub Brohi told local reporters that the policeman, Ali Raza Yousufzai, used to frequent the victims’ residence.
On Thursday morning, he also visited them and in a fit of anger over some matter, he opened fire on them killing Ashi Sheikh and her sister, Maria Sheikh, on the spot. The women’s aunt, Parveen Sheikh was wounded, the DSP said.
The victims were taken to the Tando Adam Taluka Hospital where a post-mortem examination of the deceased was performed and the bodies were handed over to the heirs. Parveen Sheikh was referred to a major hospital in Hyderabad for treatment. Her condition was stated to be stable.
The area police seized the crime weapon from Ali Raza and were trying to ascertain his motive for committing the crime.
