Police and security forces have amped up measures to ensure that Sukkur remains under lockdown.

These measures have been tightened in light of Sindh Government's directives to keep the province under curfew from 12pm to 3pm. This has been done to ensure that people follow the government's orders regarding Friday prayers.

According to SSP Sukkur Irfan Samoo, a number of people have been arrested for violating the lockdown.
