A salute to doctors and nurses

Today, when people are urged to be in self-isolation to save themselves and others, let us not forget that there are people, such as doctors and nurses, who are serving humanity and work tirelessly to treat the patients of Covid-19. They put their precious lives on risk and of those who are dependant on them — their whole family — just to care for us.

But what we have given them is just an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases by being careless and wandering around inconsequentially, despite knowing that it will result in a colossal loss of precious lives.

We can’t payback what doctors and other medical staff are doing for us since this infection started playing havoc, but we can payback a part of it by just keeping ourselves safe by following the social distancing and hygiene instructions. This is the only way to support them in their effort to defeat this calamitous virus.

Every single person’s cooperation matters a lot, so our salute to them should be in the shape of implementation of their directions. Stay blessed.

Life at Cadet College Petaro

Everyone desires to acquire good education for his/her brighter future. So, I also got inspiration from my family members to go to a cadet college as it provides quality education, along with good physical training.

Fortunately, I got admission in Cadet College Petaro last year. A student at Cadet College Petaro is known as a cadet. I entered to learn, but I felt the learning environment is quite different than other institutions. Self-responsibility is the key to spending a happy time at Cadet College. Students there are being groomed and nurtured to emerge as a brighter future of the country.

A cadet’s life is not a bed of roses. A cadet is trained to follow a prescribed routine. In a very energetic and healthy environment, cadets are trained to learn the ups and downs of life.

It is truly said that “If you fail to plan you plan to fail”.

A well-disciplined life is a happy life indeed.

Hero becomes zero

This is with regard to the article “Hero becomes zero” by Hina Narjis (YW, March 21, 2020). I read this story in one go and enjoyed it a lot. I really appreciate the imagination and narration of the writer. Her flow of writing and catchy words attracted everyone to read the story with interest.

In the story, the writer has conveyed a message to the young generation about the menace of hiding any mishap from parents.
