Mum turns green after epic fake tan fail

We are lucky to have plenty of sunlight most of the days of the year and therefore don’t have to get a tan like this mum of two, Jenni Coleman, who was left looking like “Wicked Witch of the West” after she used an out-of-date fake tan cream.

Coleman, from Manchester, UK, noticed an odd green tinge as she applied a couple layers of tan before bed one night. It was only when she woke up the next morning that she realised her huge mistake.

Jenni was literally left green. She said the fake tan fail was shared by her friend Jan as a throwback picture from four years ago as a joke that lockdown would be ‘a good time to work on your tan’. Jenni was forced to stay home for the next few days as she desperately tried to scrub it off and even admitted, “for a while after that I was a bit paranoid that it would happen again.”

Boy breaks speed drumming world record

An Indian drummer broke a Guinness World Record at the age of only six years when he performed 5,500 drumbeats in only three minutes.

Devaagyh Dixit, known as India’s youngest drummer, was awarded a Guinness World Records certificate for most drumbeats using drumsticks in three minutes when he managed to strike the drum 5,500 times in the allotted time.

Postman in fancy dress ‘lifts spirits’ in lockdown

A postman has been attempting to spread a little joy everywhere he goes as he continues to drop off his deliveries in fancy dress.

Jon Matson has worked for Royal Mail for four years and made the decision during lockdown to get dressed up to “lift the spirits” of the residents he sees.

In the last few days, the dad-of-two has been seen around the Boldon area dressed up as Little Bo Peep and a Greek solider, but tells people that they should expect to see many more outfits in the coming days.

He was told he could do his rounds in his crazy outfits as long as he wore his ID and his company shoes. Explaining why he decided to wear fancy dress he told, “Everyone is uncertain at the moment and you are the only person outside of the family that they see, so why not give them something to smile about?”

World’s largest mirrored building

A newly constructed concert hall in Saudi Arabia was awarded a Guinness World Record for ‘the world’s largest mirrored building’. The Maraya concert hall, named for the Arabic word for ‘reflection,’ in Al Ula, was awarded the Guinness record when officials verified the cuboid structure measures 31,955 square feet.

The designers of the building said the mirrored exterior was designed to reflect and highlight the natural beauty of the surrounding desert. The 500-seat concert hall is intended as a venue for performances, business conferences and other events.
