Inadequate healthcare to fight Covid-19

By the end of 2019, humanity was attacked by a virus known as Covid-19. Thousands of people have died and are dying, while many more throughout the world are hospitalised.

The coronavirus emerged from Wuhan, China, and hit the world so hard that most places had to go on complete lockdown and isolation. As the infection rate of Covid-19 is so high, there is the need to have advance personal protection equipment to protect doctors and medical staff. Unfortunately, the healthcare system in our country is not so adequate and this is leading to many difficulties in providing proper testing and treatment of Covid-19 patients here. This pandemic, I believe, is a realisation that we must work in the field of science and technology to improve the health facilities in our country.

Young World

It has been almost two years since I started reading Dawn’s Young World each weekend. It is undoubtedly the best magazine for children. It has become such an addiction, which also forms an important part of my studies.

Firstly, I feel good to have such a platform where children can send their poems and drawings and see it printed. Secondly, the stories and articles are very interesting and compel one to just keep reading.

In a nutshell, I idolise Young World and congratulate the editorial team for the difference they are making to the lives of the youth by giving them a chance to polish and show their writing skills to the world.

The coronavirus

The coronavirus is a very harmful virus which weakens our immune system. It spreads very fast, therefore we have to take the right precautions. We should not go outside, unless there is an emergency. And if we go outside, we should wear a mask. And after coming back we should wash our hands, and use a sanitiser when we are outside and cannot wash our hands.

I pray to Allah to protect us from this virus.

The importance of studying

Studying is an important activity that we need to appreciate. We have to study well to have a good career and job. We would have a tough time facing life’s challenges if we don’t study. This is why studying is important.

When there will be more educated people in our nation, it will progress and prosper. Education brings honour too.
