HARIPUR: Three persons allegedly assaulted a 12-year-old boy in Hattar village, police said here on Saturday.

The police claimed to have arrested two of the accused. The police quoted a woman as saying that Arsalan, Saqib and Qasim from the same village took her son to the old labour colony and assaulted him there, and also filmed the crime with their mobile phones.

The accused, she said threatened to make the footage viral if he revealed the incident to anyone.

The police, after registering a case, arrested Arsalan and Saqib.
