Only 11,848 tests conducted yesterday, says Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has pointed out that contrary to foreign minister's claims that 20,000 tests were being conducted in Pakistan, only 11,848 tests were conducted the previous day.

"We have a 19 per cent infection rate," he told the lower house. He added that the total number of tests included those that were conducted randomly.

"No country in the world has allowed this. Do you know that every person who comes to this House has to get tested?" he said.
