Voyager: A Journey to Self and Love
Khurram Shahzad

This debut collection of poetry is divided into two sections, titled ‘Darks and Dreams’ and ‘A Tale of Love’. With the hundred or so poems contained therein, written on themes ranging from the gothic to the absurd, from spirituality to love and romance, the poet journeys between the real and the unreal, dreams and reality, and darkness and light in search of the truth.

Musings: Cultural and Social
Noor Ahmed Janjhi

A collection of essays on the cultural and sociological aspects of Sindh, in particular the author’s ancestral homeland of Tharparkar. Fearing that Tharparkar’s cultural heritage is endangered, the professor writes on the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, the languages, folk literature and songs from the deserts of Pakistan and the poverty of the indigenous communities.
