Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has called PML-N president and opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif to inquire after his health, after the latter tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a PML-N spokesperson.

The army chief prayed for Sharif's recovery and offered facilitation in his treatment.

Sharif thanked Gen Bajwa for the call and for inquiring after his health, according to the party spokesperson.
