PIA to operate two flights to Kyrgyzstan to bring back stranded Pakistanis

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan International Airlines will operate two special flights on June 17 (Wednesday) to bring back Pakistanis stranded in Kyrgyzstan because of the restrictions caused by coronavirus.

PIA spokesman Abdullah Hafeez told Dawn on Sunday that the flight operation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan had remained suspended for the last five years, but the national flag carrier would operate two special relief flights — PK-9251 and PK-9252 — on the directive of Prime Minister Imran Khan to bring back Pakistanis stranded in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
