Boy killed in grenade blast

QUETTA: A seven-year-old boy was killed and six other people were injured in a hand-grenade attack here on Wednesday night. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Muddassar.

The grenade was hurled into a shop at the Brewery Road area where the victims were purchasing the national flag, badges and other items in connection with Independence Day. Police said two people on a motorcycle hurled the grenade which exploded in front of the shop injuring seven people, including the shop owner.
