60,000 tonnes wheat bought
HAMBURG: A group of flour mills in Pakistan has bought around 60,000 tonnes of wheat recently, which is expected to be sourced from the Black Sea region, as purchasing for imports by the South Asian nation increases, European traders said on Friday.
Pakistans government had permitted private sector wheat imports in June to cool domestic wheat and flour prices. The latest wheat purchase was made at around $227 c&f free out for shipment in September, traders said.
