First mobile police station launched in Quetta

QUETTA: The first mobile police station of Pakistan was launched in Quetta on Friday. It will start operations on a trial basis.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani in a Twitter message said that the Mobile Police Station Project had been initiated in the province on a trial basis.

He said internet and other necessary facilities would be provided to the police station.

“Basic purpose of the Mobile Police Station Project is to register the common public complaints on an immediate basis,” the chief minister said.

He said that citizens would benefit from the mobile police station, adding that this service would help in protecting police records and provide secured access to the Police Station Record Management System.
