Rain destroys mud houses in Washuk

CHAGAI: Several mud houses and six shops collapsed and onion crops were damaged as torrential rains hit many parts of Washuk town on Sunday.

The Pathk Bazaar area of the town was submerged causing severe damages to shops. Many people became homeless after their houses were damaged or demolished.

According to official sources, onion crops were damaged by flooding caused by heavy rains in many parts of Washuk district.

Basima Assistant Commissioner Zakir Baloch told Dawn that a survey was being conducted to assess losses caused by torrential rains in the area.
