MARDAN: The third meeting of syndicate of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Mardan, was held here on Wednesday.

It was chaired by the varsity vice-chancellor Dr Shahid Khattak and attended by its members and other relevant officials.

On this occasion, Prof Ibrar Ali Shah presented agenda of the syndicate meeting.

The participants approved a project to start construction of buildings of new departments, including Civil Engineering Department and Mechanical Engineering Department.

They also passed recommendations of the second and third selection boards as well as that of second finance and planning committee.

Similarly, the recommendations of third and fourth academic council meetings were also approved.
