Is the lockdown really finished?

I don’t know if the lockdown is finished, but I know that till now there is no vaccine or cure for the Covid-19 virus. I think people should not go outside without a mask even if there’s no lockdowns. We need to adopt new forms of a normal life now by including precautions and hygiene in our lives.

Anyone carrying this virus can infect many people around them, and the virus can be very harmful for a person with weak immunity.

A second wave of the coronavirus is hitting the world, the numbers of cases are increasing again in other countries. But I have seen people moving about without masks and are not social distancing, as if the coronavirus has disappeared all together.

I urge everyone to keep taking precautions like we were doing before, and I pray that Allah Almighty protects everyone and makes the earth corona free again. Ameen.

Emerging fields of study

I really loved the article “Emerging fields of study” by Mahnoor Ilyas, published on 15th August 2020 in Young World.

It was a very informative and eloquently-written article. It is good to see that young talents are getting a chance to showcase their skills through your medium.

Reading books

The article “Five books you must read” by Bakhtawar Saleem Shahani on August 8, 2020, was a good read and it introduced me to some great books.

If you want to achieve something in life, the first thing you have to do is to become a reader, because leaders are always readers.

As you all know, because of Covid-19, we are stuck in our homes and we are always free. So I have read many books and my English vocabulary has improved. It is a very nice to way to pass the time and learn too.

I hope you all will read books just like me and enjoy this time in good activities.

An interesting issue

In Young World’s issue of August 15, 2020, the story “Robotic misadventures” by Naad-e-Ali Khan stole the show with its thrilling composition and adventure. It was a different piece of writing as it focused on a boy’s obsession with scientific adventures.

I cannot help but also talk about the article “Emerging fields of study”, by Mahnoor Ilyas. The writer described in the comprehensive details many emerging professions. This is very informative and helpful for us as we can also do some research ourselves and be in a better position to decide our future profession.
