Shujaat in hospital with chest infection

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujat Hussain was shifted to the Services Hospital with chest infection on Friday.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, former president Asif Zardari and other national leaders telephoned his family to inquire about his health whereas Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the hospital.

In his telephonic conversation with his son Shafay Hussain, the PM prayed for his early recovery.

Zardari and other leaders telephoned Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi. According to doctors, the PML-Q leader was suffering from pneumonia but his condition was stable. His Covid-19 test was also conducted.
