Armed clash claims two lives in Swabi

SWABI: Two people were killed in exchange of fire between rival groups over a woman dispute in Marghuz village in the limits of Zaida police station here on Tuesday.

SHO Akbar Ali told Dawn that first cousins of a woman, who had solemnised second marriage against their will a few days ago, and her husband and his cousin exchanged fire when the newly-married couple visited the Marghuz village from the Swabi city.

He said two persons were killed in the exchange of fire.

He identified them as cousins of the woman and her husband.

Cross FIRs was registered from both the groups into the case.
