Bilawal calls for recruiting unemployed youth
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Monday asked Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to ensure recruitments in the vacant positions across the province aimed at providing “relief to the unemployed youth and utilisation of their potential,” said a statement. After recovering from coronavirus, the two met at Bilawal House where the Sindh CM called on the PPP chairman and briefed him about the Covid-19 situation and the steps taken by the Sindh government to protect the people.
“CM Shah informed the Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari about the development pace in the province, which is hampered by the lesser payments from the Federal government than the provinces due share. He said that Sindh government has surpassed its own tax collection targets so far,” said the Bilawal House statement.
It said the PPP chairman asked the Sindh government to start recruitment on the vacant jobs on merit for relief to the unemployed youth and utilization of their potential for the province.
He also stressed that more employment opportunities may also be created in the private sector as well, added the statement.
