Seven checkpoints on highway to be abolished

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to abolish seven Levies Force check-posts on the main highway linking Qila Abdullah and Pishin districts with the provincial capital.

The decision has been taken in view of the demand made by the people and leaders of different political parties for abolition of Levies and FC checkpoints on the Quetta-Chaman highway.

The Quetta division assistant commissioner (political) in a letter requested the additional chief secretary of home and tribal affairs to abolish the check-posts at Saranan, Garang, Zaraband, Chorri Bazaar, Maizai, Boghra and Chaman Bypass.
