Another ACE case against Nahras, two patwaris

GUJRANWALA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) registered on Wednesday another case against seven people, including PML-N MNA Azhar Qayyum Nahra, former MNA Muddassar Qayyum Nahra, former chairman district council Mazhar Qayyum Nahra and two revenue officials for allegedly grabbing eight kanal state land in Matoo Bhaike.

ACE circle officer Rana Nawaz said the Nahra brothers, their front men Attaullah, Sanaullah with the connivance of two patwaris Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Maqsood allegedly grabbed eight kanal state land in Matoo Bhaike village 10 years ago. The land was retrieved some days back.

The ACE official a case had been registered against PML-N leaders, their accomplices and both patwaris. He said teams had been formed to arrest the suspects. Former MNA Muddassar Qayyum Nahra has already been arrested in 267 kanal state land grab cases.

BOOKED: Civil Lines and Model Town police registered cases against more than 100 activists of PML-N for creating uproar outside police station and court premises during the hearing of Muddassar Qayyum Nahra.
