Opinion: Push your limits
Everyone has dreams, the dreams of achieving something. But at the end, some accomplish what they dream of while others sit at a corner of their path and wait for a storm to come that take away every stone and hurdle from their way. They wait lifelong.
The mystery lies in the road towards success. Let’s take the example of two people, both have some purpose of life but, when one comes across a heavy stone, they change their way and turn back towards where they came from.
On the other hand, the other one, when faced such a stone, asks himself, “Can I move it? What will be its weight? Is it bigger than me? Will I need people to help me take it out of my way? Can I do it? Or should I get a thrush machine to crush this stone?
Well the difference between these two aspirants is clear. The one who questions himself will be able to take any hurdle out of the way, while other will be at waiting all their life for hurdles to disappear from their path.
These stones may be our own emotion, various circumstances, lack of energy, lack of resources, lack of power, financial problems, and these stone may come in any form, at any place, on the way to success. But the most important thing is not to stop questioning and testing yourself.
It is rightly said that the journey of thousand miles starts with the first step, and I believe that first step is questioning. Once you stop questioning yourself, you stop where you are in life. Your whole life is ahead of you, however, before you realise it, the spring of life, or your youth, the peak of your fitness, will be replaced by the autumn and winter years of your life.
So before these obstacles or stones become covered with snow, start questioning yourself and pushing yourself beyond your limits.
