LAHORE: A couple and their two children were injured in a cylinder blast in Baghabnpura on Sunday.

The incident took place in a house near Madhu Lal shrine. The family was busy cooking breakfast when the gas cylinder exploded in the kitchen in the morning.

A fire erupted in the kitchen and engulfed the people sitting there resultantly one-year-old Zain, Ali Raza, 4, Shahid, 31, his wife Farzana, 25, suffered burn wounds.

Rescue 1122 ambulances put off the fire and shifted the injured to nearby hospital where they were said to be stable.
