Disney’s live-action Cruella in works

Emma Stone’s Cruella de Vil is significantly more punk rock than her animated counterpart. Stone appeared via video message to debut the first look of the titular character in Disney’s Cruella, also revealing that it will take place in the punk rock era of the 1970s.

In the first photo, Stone is sporting Cruella’s famous two-toned hairstyle, and it seems like dalmatians are part of her squad before they started turning into her coats.

Stone stars as the 101 Dalmatians villain, which tells her story before she was terrorising the puppies of London, as we saw her in the 1961 original. The movie is said to hit theatres on May 28, 2021, after being pushed back from a Christmas 2020 release date.

Harry Potter TV Series in the works

A Harry Potter series is in very early development at HBO Max. A show set within the wizarding world has persisted for some time and now those plans are moving ahead. No writers or talent are currently attached to the project and there is no word yet on what the focus of the show would be or what part of the Harry Potter timeline it would focus on should it move ahead.

However, Warner Bros. and HBO Max rejected the rumours saying, “There are no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform.” The project is in the very early stages.

Titans casts Robin no. 3

Titans is heading for another round of Robin. Jay Lycurgo, who has a role in the upcoming DC film The Batman, is set to recur during Season 3 of the live-action superhero team-up series as Tim Drake, a streetwise kid who’s managed to grow up on the toughest streets without losing his indelible belief in heroism.

Tim’s easy-going demeanour is backed up by a near-genius mind — a natural detective with a perception of detail far beyond his years.

In DC lore, Tim is fated to become the third Robin, succeeding Jason Todd (and Dick Grayson before him) in carrying the superhero mantle. Titans’ Dick (played by Brenton Thwaites), after a bit of an identity crisis, has transitioned to the Nightwing persona, while Jason Todd (Curran Walters) is due to become Red Hood in Season 3.
