Cake cars break Guinness record!

A Washington state gaming club broke two Guinness World Records when it celebrated the opening of its new parking garage with a race between two cars that were 91% cake.

A race was held between two replica Formula One cars, each comprising a cake body mounted on an aluminium chassis. The cars were 91 percent edible to ensure they met Guinness World Records qualifications that required the cars to be 90% edible to set the records for the fastest edible vehicle and longest distance covered by an edible vehicle.

Formula One driver Michael Andretti drove the car that broke the records, reaching a top speed of 17.08 mph and travelling a distance of 349.81 feet. The cake was donated to Share Vancouver, a non-profit specialising in food access.

The ‘world’s ugliest jumper’

Famous brand, Louis Vuitton has been mocked for selling a jumper for £5,800 — that is covered with puppets and crocheted toys.

The knitted jumper, covered in 14 crocheted toys, including a green frog, a black and white panda and grey octopus, “showcases the playful puppets that are a major theme this season.”

It is “exclusively made-to-order.” But the outfit is not only a laughingstock, but costs too much too. Lots of unimpressed shoppers felt like they were having the wool pulled over their eyes after spotting the eye-watering £5,800 price tag. What do you think?

Dog inherits $5 million

A Tennessee dog is living the comfortable life after inheriting $5 million from her late owner. Lulu, an 8-year-old border collie, was named in the will of owner Bill Dorris, a Nashville businessman who died late last year at age 84.

Martha Burton, 88, a neighbour who often cared for Lulu while Dorris was away, was named as the canine’s caretaker in Dorris’ will, which states Burton will be reimbursed for “reasonable” monthly expenses.

“I don’t really know what to think about it to tell you the truth. He just really loved the dog,” Burton told. Burton said she is perfectly happy to act as Lulu’s caretaker.
