KARACHI: The Summer Cup tops action in a small four-race card drawn for the Gymkhana race meeting being held at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

A field of eight horses will face the starter in the Summer Cup which is the third race in racing order and classified under scale order IV and V and go over four furlongs.

The next race, which is the feature event, scale order III and IV has a field of half-a-dozen horses. It will be run over four-and-a-half furlongs.

The first two races of lower classification will be run over four furlongs.

A pair of horses, both from Lahore, namely Mr Sam

and Love ‘N’ War will make their debut on Sunday.

The first race starts at 3.30pm.

Win: Ghaiyyath.

Place: Faster.

THE SUMMER CUP SCALE ORDER IV & V — 4 F:

Love ‘N’ War (Prince of Multan) 9-0, Wild Fire 8-13, Cracks Man 8-12, Thomas 8-11, Eye of The Tiger 8-9, Well Wisher 8-8, Roderick 8-0, Recovery 7-11.
