Two killed, seven hurt in Swabi incidents

SWABI: Two people were killed and seven others injured in different incidents here the other day.

Kalu Khan police officials said unidentified assailants opened fire on Sajjid Ali Khan at Ismalia bus stop, killing him on the spot. A three year-old-child namely Abdul Rafi was also injured in the firing incident.

The injured was shifted to Mardan Medical Complex. An FIR has been registered against the assailants in the Kalu Khan police station.

In Gadoon Industrial Estate, a motorcycle and a van collided near Shahkrai area.

The bike rider identified as Mudassir Khan, 27, died on the spot.

The deceased belonged to Ghazi tehsil of Haripur. The body was shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Topi, for autopsy.

In a related accident, two persons were injured when two motorcycles collided on Topi-Gadoon Estate Road. The injured were identified as Rahimullah, 30, and Zard Ali Khan, 51. They were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

Four people were injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles on Swabi-Topi Road near Bamkhel. The injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

They were identified as Karimullah, 45, Sohail Umar, 26, Osama Umar, 20, and Kashif Umar, 30.
