Traders receive threatening pamphlets

KHUZDAR: Hindu traders in Wadh town of Khuzdar district have received threatening pamphlets asking them not to allow female customers into their shops.

According to reports, unidentified people put the pamphlets outside the shops of Hindu traders in the main markets on Saturday morning. Such pamphlets were also found affixed to signboards on the Quetta-Karachi national highway and some buildings.

The traders were warned that they would face dire consequence if they did not follow the instructions issued in the pamphlet.

Workers of the Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) and representatives of the trader association organised a rally in Wadh town in protest against the threats. They marched on main roads and chanted slogans against the government.

They condemned the threats to Hindu traders and demanded arrest of those behind the threatening pamphlets.
