Roll number slips issue: LHC summons director colleges
MULTAN: The Lahore High Court, Multan Bench, summoned the director colleges of Dera Ghazi Khan for not issuing roll number slips to over 250 students of Government Degree College, Jatoi, district Muzaffargarh.
Students Tariq, Sheraz and others filed a petition with the LHC, Multan bench, through their counsel stating that 253 students of the college deposited their fees in the account office of the college but the clerks of the college embezzled Rs1.6 million deposited by the students in terms of fee.
They stated that an inquiry was conducted over the direction the Director Colleges of Dera Ghazi Khan and deputy director colleges of Muzaffargarh suspended three clerks of the college.
They requested the court that they should be allowed to participate in the examination which is going to start from July 10.
Justice Raheel Kamran while summoning the director colleges for Tuesday stated that why an educational year of the students is being wasted by not issuing the roll number slips to them.
He also raised the question that why the admissions of students were not sent to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dera Ghazi Khan, when the funds were available with the college.

In a joint statement the leaders of the SQC including Masehullah Jampuri, Zahoor Dhareja, Haji Eid Ahamad Dhareja, Sobia Malik and Afzal Ahmad stated that the party which had announced establishing educational institutions in Prime Minister House and Governor House is intended to get vacate the educational institution after becoming into power.
