ISLAMABAD: Promising Hamza Sharif defeated Salman Saleem in final of the $1,000 PSA Satellite Tourn­ament here at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Tuesday. Hamza took 30 minutes in winning the decider 11-3, 13-15, 11-1, 11-7.

In the semi-final held earlier on Tuesday, Hamza tamed Farhan Hashmi 11-4, 9-11, 11-8, 11-4 in 36 minutes.

Salman in his last-four match overcame Ashab Irfan, who upset top seed Noor Zaman in the quarter-final, 11-8, 2-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-9 in 43 minutes.
