More than 600,000 vaccine doses administered across the country yesterday for first time: Asad Umar

Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has shared that more than 600,000 vaccine doses were administered across the country yesterday.

In a tweet, Umar said that while the increasing number of vaccine doses being administered was "encouraging", the pace of vaccination needed to be sped up so all social and economic restrictions could be lifted.

"As long as a large part of the population does not get vaccinated, restrictions are unavoidable," he said.
