Meet Elmo’s New Puppy in Sesame Street

Debuting on HBO Max, fans of all ages will learn how Tango made her way to Sesame Street in a new 30-minute special Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy. A sneak peek at the 2D-animated adoption adventure sees Elmo and Grover discover a sweet, stray puppy – whom they quickly name Tango – and embark on an adventure throughout the neighbourhood with Sesame Street friends Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and Oscar the Grouch. Together, they search for the local pet adoption fair in the hopes of finding her a “forever home.”

Tango will join Sesame Street‘s 52nd Season as both an animated character and a live-action Sesame Street Muppet, debuting this fall on HBO Max and on PBS in 2022.

New Superman just debuted his brand-new costume

Superman fans just got a look at what the latest incarnation of the hero will be wearing. If you haven’t heard, Supes is losing his powers and Earth needs a hero. In his stead, Jonathan Kent will be on call to defend Earth. But, this might be a little different than anything the young hero has seen before.

The younger Kryptonian will be sporting a simplified version of his father’s iconic costume in the book. His shield still bears the standard colours, but his shoulders will likely prove polarising. The cape remains, but the red detailing will stretch around his neck and the family crest organically.

Another fun touch is that the Kryptonian tech is right there with his belt.

HP’s 20th anniversary Blu-ray Steelbook

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be getting a new Blu-ray Steelbook for its 20th anniversary.

The first Harry Potter movie franchise will hit the milestone this November, with Warner Bros celebrating a three-disc collection that includes a 4K Ultra HD remaster of the movie.

‘The Steelbook’ features artwork of the original cast in front of Hogwarts, along with a bonus disc that includes the interactive Magical Movie Mode option, where fans can re-watch the films with special features added directly into the viewing experience.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone — or The Sorcerer’s Stone in the US — was originally released in November 2001, and was a smash hit with more than $1 billion earned at the worldwide box office.
