Six held in rickshaw driver beating case

BAHAWALNAGAR: The Marot police arrested six out of eight people on Tuesday who allegedly kidnapped a rickshaw driver, stripped him naked and thrashed him for his alleged affair with a woman of Chak 289/HR on Saturday.

According to the FIR, Muhammad Ejaz, Katto Khan, Mukhtiar, Maqsud, Muneer, Ameer, Abdul Ghaffar and Anwar held hostage Saiful Mulook at the outhouse of Muneer Kharal where they stripped him naked, beat him with sticks and recorded a video of the act.

Later, notables of the area stopped Saiful Mulook from taking any action against the culprits when he tried to approach the police soon after the incident.
