LEGO celebrates 20 years of LEGO Harry Potter
The LEGO Group is celebrating 20 years of LEGO Harry Potter with the grand unveiling of the “LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition.”
Billed as ‘an intricate display model and a perfect homage to the Wizarding World,’ the detailed new launch aims to capture some of the most iconic characters and moments from the franchise in one model.
The set includes several famous artefacts from the Wizarding World of the last two decades. Sitting at the centre of the set is Harry’s owl, Hedwig, clutching the infamous Hogwarts letter. Fans will also find Harry’s wand and glasses, a chocolate frog, a potions tray, Tom Riddle’s diary, the Golden Snitch, and a school scarf that can match any Hogwarts House.
It has 3,010 pieces and measuring over 44cm high, 50cm wide, and 33cm deep, made complete with a bespoke stand and celebratory tile to mark the 20th anniversary of LEGO Harry Potter.
It also comes with a trio of exclusive anniversary golden LEGO mini-figures, including Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus Hagrid, as seen together in the first scene of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Justin Bieber to host Las Vegas event
Justin Bieber is coming to Las Vegas in October. The 27-year-old singer said that he will host the event “Justin Bieber & Friends: The Las Vegas Experience.”
“Been planning this one for a while... I’m heading to Vegas and I’m taking some friends,” Bieber wrote on Instagram.
“Justin Bieber & Friends” will take place October 7-10 at Wynn Las Vegas. The experience will feature musical performances, pop-ups, parties and other events.
Swift shares track list for ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’
Taylor Swift is unveiling the track list for her new album Red (Taylor’s Version).
Swift confirmed the album will feature collaborations with Chris Stapleton, Phoebe Bridgers, Mark Foster and Ed Sheeran.
“I know some of you thought that would be like trying to solve a crossword and realising there’s no right answer BUT... you played it good & right. Congrats pals, you guessed the correct titles and feature artists on Red,” Swift wrote on Instagram.
Swift said she “can’t wait til we can dust off our highest hopes and relive these memories together” through the album.
