Marvel’s Secret Wars movie
Rumours have been swirling that a Secret Wars film, which would feature an even bigger superhero and villain crossover than that seen in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, could be on the way, particularly after Marvel directors Anthony and Joe Russo revealed that they’d love to work on it.
But according to Marvel boss, Keving Feige, “I’ve seen those rumours as well. Why is everyone talking about that now? That’s what I want to know,” he said.
So that’s not really a yes or a no either way, although Feige did confirm that there is plenty of comic source material for the MCU team to draw on should they want to.
Marvel Superheroes’ Secret Wars is a comic book limited series from 1984 and 1985, where superheroes and villains are transported to a planet called Battleworld, where they fight it out with cosmic entity The Beyonder.
Secret Wars is certainly a logical possibility but whether it will actually happen remains to be seen.
Tour the ‘Forbidden Forest’
Harry Potter fans will be able to take a walking tour of the ‘Forbidden Forest’ in an incredible live experience later this year.
Warner Bros. is partnering with Thinkwell on an official attraction bringing the Wizarding World to life in Cheshire (England), as the Forbidden Forest is created in the woodlands at Arley Hall and Gardens.
Tickets are now on sale for this family-friendly event running from October 17 through to November 28.
All-ages participants will travel along a lighted path through the ‘Forbidden Forest’ as they encounter classic moments from the franchise, as well as fantastic beasts such as Hippogriffs, centaurs, unicorns and Nifers.
Organisers will also make experience safety compliant with Covid-19 guidelines.
Ant-Man helmet, anyone?
Well, it’s not tiny! Marvel’s latest life-size collectible is a replica of the Ant-Man helmet.
The Disney-owned studio is partnering with toy giant Hasbro on the full-sized helmet like the one worn by Paul Rudd in the Ant-Man and Avengers movies in the MCU.
This helmet is perfect for cosplay, because it is sculpted for an adjustable fit on most head sizes, and has straps to secure it. Six lighting effects equip the helmet to allow the wearer to flash Blue and Red LED lights, just like Scott Lang does when he’s hunting down Yellow jacket or the Black Order.
Keep in mind that the helmet is also perfect for display if you’re not into cosplay. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to be released in cinemas on February 17, 2023.
