Engro Fertilisers earnings down 37.3pc
KARACHI: Engro Fertilisers Ltd reported earnings of Rs4.4 billion for the July-September quarter, down 37.3 per cent from a year ago.
In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, the company also announced an interim cash dividend of Rs3.50 per share, which takes the cumulative payout in the first nine months of 2021 to Rs11.50 per share.
For the nine-month period, however, the urea maker reported a net profit of Rs14.9bn, up 29.8pc from the corresponding period a year ago.
The result was largely in line with industry expectations, according to a research note by Topline Securities.
HabibMetro, PMRCL sign pact
