Peshawar board declares SSC, HSSC Part-I results

PESHAWAR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Peshawar, on Friday declared the results of part first of both the matric and intermediate examinations.

A total of 86,711 candidates had enrolled themselves for the part first examinations of secondary school certificate (SSC) of whom 82,468 appeared in the examinations while 4,243 remained absent.

Of them, as many as 53,121 male and 25,204 female students appeared in the exams as regular candidates and 3,443 male and 700 female candidates appeared in private capacity.

As per policy of the government, all the students who appeared in the board exams were declared passed.

Similarly, 55,840 students attended the intermediate (HSSC) part-I examinations of whom 15,407 girls and 34,338 boys qualified the examinations as regular candidates and 1,728 girls and 4367 boys as private candidates.

Students of both the classes appeared only in the elective subjects as per government decision taken in the light of long closures of educational institutions due to Covid-19.
