Opinion: Positivity makes life better

Life is a glorious gift given by Allah. The meaning of life is not just to exist, but to give life a meaning. Life should be purposeful, otherwise a person won’t be able to fully enjoy his life.

Having a life means having an opportunity to effectuate what our hearts crave for, but sometimes in the race of obtaining everything before our death, we lose the special moment which we could create with our loved ones. To live a meaningful life, one must give equal importance to relations and the people around us.

Those we spend most of our time with have a great influence on our moods, how we view the world and the expectations we have from our own selves. Just as positive people have an impact on our life, we also suffer when we are surrounded by people that are negative or narrow-minded.

Get rid of people who bring you down. We must surround ourselves with the positive people, because they don’t see negativity in everything and appreciate the good things in life. Such people not only change your perspective, but make you believe in yourself and can change the way you look at life. Who you spend most of your time with is the one you ultimately become like.

Spending time with people who’re positive makes your life optimistic. They will help you to walk out of every negative situation and inspire you to look at all the positive aspect of life. They’ll make you believe in living a hopeful life and support you to do better in life, helping you to achieve your goals.

When you become a positive person, you not only benefit yourself but it is also good for those around you since your positivity will radiate to them.

It doesn’t mean to bury your head in the sand and avoid life’s ungracious circumstances. It just means that you advent ungraciousness in a more positive and constructive way. Always think that the best is going to happen, and not the worst.

Practice self-talk, it will be more self-affectionate. You may also become less judgmental of the people around you.

Positive thinking has enormous beneficial effects on our health, it increases our life span, reduces our depression and distress, ameliorate psychological and physical well-being and also boost our coping skills during obnoxious and troublesome periods. So try to become a positive person so that you can make your life better.
