Animated Diary Of A Wimpy Kid movie

A new animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie is coming to Disney+ this December. Based on the first book in Jeff Kinney’s best-selling series, the movie will follow Greg Heffley as he survives the ups and downs of middle-school life. The movie is directed by Swinton Scott (Futurama), and is written and produced by Kinney.

While the official cast hasn’t been announced yet, it will feature the voice talents of Brady Noon, Ethan William and Chris Diamantopoulos.

According to the official plot synopsis from Disney+, the movie will focus on Greg, a “scrawny but ambitious kid with an active imagination and big plans to be rich and famous — he just has to survive middle school first. Greg learns to appreciate true friends and the satisfaction that comes from standing up for what is right,” the synopsis continues.

World’s biggest triceratops skeleton auctioned

The world’s biggest triceratops skeleton, known as “Big John,” was sold for 6.6 million euros ($7.7 million) to a private collector at a Paris auction.

The enormous skeleton, estimated to be over 66 million years old, was found in 2014 in South Dakota. The triceratops had three horns. Big John, named after the owner of the land where it was found, is the largest documented skeleton of a triceratops. It died in an ancient flood plain on the island continent stretching from present-day Alaska to Mexico, allowing the conservation of its skeleton in mud.

The skeleton is 7.15 metres long (23 feet) and stands 2.7 meters high (8 feet) at the hips. The skull represents more than one third of its total length, with two large horns over 1.1 metre long (3.6 feet). Big John’s skeleton is more than 60% complete and its skull more than 75% complete, making it unique.

Ed Sheeran’s new album

Ed Sheeran has a new album coming up. Sheeran’s manager Stuart Camp spoke of the musician’s forthcoming 2022 tour and plans for a fifth album.

“This tour is going to span three or four years, and there will be another record within that cycle,” Camp explained. “Ed already knows what the next album is. Ed writes so many songs, and he wants to get them out, he doesn’t want them just sitting on his hard drive.”

The UK and Ireland leg of Sheeran’s ‘+ – = ÷ x Tour’ – pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’ — is due to kick off in April. The star will play four nights at Wembley Stadium in London between June 24 and July 1, 2022.
