Challenges lead to success

This is regarding the cover article “Challenges lead to success” by Fatima Ahmad (YW, November 13). I agree with the writer that a person’s intelligence is reflected in how he/she interacts with everyday life’s challenges and one can learn from his/her mistakes.

If there is a challenging task in front of us, we should not back out, we should face it and keep moving forward. Whether we fail or win, it should not hinder our progress.

Story time

I am a regular reader of Young World and this is with reference to the issue published on November 20th. As I picked up the issue and went through the pages, I saw four stories in it.

It was a fantastic treat for me because I love reading stories. All the stories were pretty awesome. I would appreciate it if many stories printed every week. I am sure many readers, like me, love reading short stories more than other articles.

A mysterious parcel

This is with reference to the story “A mysterious parcel” by Aahid Balagamwala (YW, November 6). The story was about smugglers who were doing illegal smuggling of weapons. It is true that smugglers can make innocent people their victims by involving them in their cruel activities and then put their lives in big trouble.

We must be careful about our surroundings and we should not let suspicious people take advantage of us.

Respect the poor

This is regarding the story “Respect the poor” by Ayesha Ilyas (YW, November 27). The story gave a great message to never underestimate the poor or people who are doing small jobs like taking the trash and cleaning the sewers, etc. They deserve respect and we should be treating them with dignity. In fact, they are the ones who are working harder than many other people.

So, we must appreciate their hard work and always treat them with respect.

II

The story “Respect the poor” by Ayesha Ilyas described how we behave with the poor people. It is true that some people dislike them and some feel ashamed to even talk to them; however, we should keep in mind that these people are working for us by keeping our surroundings clean and removing our garbage. God has created all of us as equals, but we are the ones do injustice, so always remind yourself to treat them with respect.
