HYDERABAD: Boy’s body found in gutter

HYDERABAD, Nov 20: Police on Saturday night found the body of a minor boy in a gutter near the railway track. The deceased was identified as Amir, son of Akbar Chandio.

He had been allegedly kidnapped by Shahmir Lakho, Imran Buriro alias Tony, Gul Hassan Mallah and Ayub.

Three of the accused have been arrested, but Ayub is absconding.

The Kotri police said the boy had been kidnapped because his father had exchanged hot words with the accused six months ago.

During investigation, the three kidnappers were arrested who confessed to have committed the crime and led the police team to the gutter.

The police said they had buried the body first but later threw it in the gutter.

ROAD BLOCKED: Drivers of Karachi-bound buses blocked the Jan-i-Alam roundabout of Hussainabad in protest against the traffic police on the orders of DPO.

The drivers said that they were being booked unnecessarily by the police.

While the Hussainabad police defended their stance by saying that the buses were booked for violating the ban imposed by the high court of stopping vehicles on the main roads. The police had booked 481 buses during the last three months.
