One of Pakistan Super League's most celebrated teams, Peshawar Zalmi has released their new anthem for PSL 7.

The anthem is titled 'Aaya Zalmi' and is sung by Zar Sanga, Sunny Khan Durrani, Zoha Zuberi, Tayyab Rehman & Zara Madani. The video also features Zalmi Ambassadors, Mahira Khan and Ali Rehman.

The anthem was produced under the mentorship of executive producer and former Coke Studio producer, Rohail Hyatt and music producer Ali Mustafa.

From the cricketing team, the song features Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz alongside team-mates Shoaib Malik, Hussain Talat, Kamran Akmal & Usman Qadir.

'Aaya Zalmi' is a blend of pop and contemporary rap, which not only includes Urdu but also features Pashto lyrics adding the right cultural feel to the mix.

According to the team behind the track, the Zalmi anthem symbolies a metaphorical representation of life; it is all about finding your inner peace and the fight with self to reach one's true potential.

The animation and shots featured in the video are directed by Hassan Dawar.
