Slow work on Charsadda road protested
CHARSADDA: Traders and other residents here on Tuesday blocked the main Peshawar-Charsadda road to traffic in protest against slow pace of work on a portion of the road from Farooq Azam Chowk to Qazikhel Pul.
The road was dug up two months ago, but it could not be repaired as yet while people continue to face problems. The enraged shopkeepers blocked the road and started collecting money to repair it on self-help basis in order to record their protest over slow pace of work.
