TAXILA: A 26-year-old man drowned while catching fish in a mini dam located in Ziarat Bella near Dakhni oil field in the jurisdiction of Jand police station on Friday.

The police said the deceased was identified as Jamshaid Zaffar.

Later, Rescue 1122 retrieved his body and shifted it to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital for autopsy.
