Days of govt numbered, claims Fazlur Rehman

KOHAT/DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Uelma-i-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazl Rehman has said days of the government have been numbered as people are fed up with it.

Addressing Akhunzada Mohammad Siddique conference at Jahazo ground in Hangu, he said that supporters of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf voted for the candidates of JUI-F which was a clear proof that people were fed up with the government.

“The days of the government are numbered. Pakistan Democratic Movement will oust the government through the long march and a no-confidence motion,” he said.

The JUI-F chief said that no international organisation was ready to give loan to the government as it had lost trust of the world.

JUI-F chief says lives of people made miserable

He said that prime minister had claimed to provide 10 million jobs to people but only two persons, the governor of State Bank of Pakistan and chairman of Federal Board of Revenue, were hired.

He alleged that government mortgaged the State Bank of Pakistan and sold out Kashmir just to prolong its rule by pleasing its ‘masters’.

He said the incompetent rulers had made the lives of people miserable.

Mr Rehman said that one day the prime minister took back the summary of increase in prices of petroleum products and the next day the rate of petrol was increased by Rs12 per litre.

He said government was not clear about making peace with the local Taliban.

Talking to journalists in Dera Ismail Khan, JUI-F provincial chief Senator Maulana Attaur Rehman said that Imran Khan’s claims of putting the country on the path of development turned out to be false and those, who brought him into power, were also displeased with him.

He said that JUI-F and other opposition parties were trying to oust the rulers as soon as possible because their incompetence and poor policies tarnished the image of country in the world.

He expressed these views while talking to journalists at the annual meeting of Jamia Usmania Muriyali and later at the residence of Malik Munir Ahmad Esar.

He said that in the elections for the seat of city mayor of Dera tehsil, a federal minister tried to buy the conscience of people and devalued the status of vote. He said that PTI leaders were buying votes.

The JUI-F leader said that government was a guest of few days. He said that JUI-F would continue to fight for the survival of Islam in the country. He accused the government of following pro-Jewish policies.
